EGYPT – Al Arabia Real Estate and Development launches 5 big projects

Al Arabia Real Estate and Development (ARCO) – one of the leading real estate companies in the Egyptian market, founded in 2005, primarily developing integrated residential, commercial, real estate and resort projects – announced last week the launch of five new projects – worth a total of EGP 8.8 bn – and the opening of the new showroom at Citystars Cairo featuring an interactive screen displaying all the ongoing and upcoming projects.
The first project, Lavande, located in 6th of October City on an area of over 235.000 sq.m., includes 345 house units (townhouses and villas), style inspired by that of southern France. The total investments worth EGP 1.5bn. The unit areas will range from EGP 270m to EGP 345m.
La Fountaine, the second project, that will be located in New Cairo on an area of 142.800 sq.m., will have investments worth EGP 1.7bn and will include 85 townhouses and 565 units. Each group of buildings will have a covered swimming pool and health club.
The new phase of Citystars Sahel, a big project (with a total of 1.137 units and investments expected to register EGP 18bn) which includes residential resort, hotels, commercial mall and entertainment area, between Alexandria and Marsa Matrouh, is just started: ARCO has signed deals with Swiss Hotel and Fairmont for two five-star hotels and started the construction of 220 new cabins (townhouses and chalets). This phase will be completed by 2020 with investments worth EGP 4bn.
Lagoon, another project located on the North Coast, near Al-Alamein, will consist of 792 units on an area of 138.600 sq.m. divided into 33 buildings. It will include 258 hotel-style apartments by Ibis hotels. The project’s total investments are worth EGP 600m.
Le Reve project, located on the Ring Road, will consist of 120 luxurious villas built on an area of more than 487.000 sq.m.: ARCO has just launched the final phase at a total investment cost of EGP 1 bn.
ARCO also presented its showroom located in Citystars Cairo, furnished with interactive tables and an interactive screen to show to the public all projects the company is working on.
